Productivity of Earthworms (Pheretima sp.) with the Combination of Cow Dung and Flour of Green Mussel Shell Flour as Cultivation Media

Composting and mixing organic inorganic materials are among the abilities of earthworms. The survival earthworms is influenced by several environmental factors, including media temperature, pH, moisture, texture, nutrient content. Shellfish shells underutilized waste that increasing in quantity as more people consume food from sea. This study aims to analyze productivity (Pheretima sp.) using a combination cow dung green shellfish cultivation media. uses Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with four treatments three replications, obtained results analyzed Tukey test. observed parameters total body weight, population, cocoon count, depletion. show significant (P<0.05) on use all measured parameters. treatment P1 increase weight 33.3 grams resulted loss 262.67 grams. mussel shell flour at concentration ≥ 10% can soil worms.
